Seattle’s Capitol Hill has faced the strain of rapid growth, gentrification, and displacement. Capitol Hill EcoDistrict pilots innovative efforts that guide urban development toward more accessible, inclusive, diverse, and vibrant neighborhoods centering public life and environmental sustainability.

In building a photo library for their website and marketing materials, my goal was to capture the gritty beauty unique to Capitol Hill that EcoDistrict works to preserve, and the sense of community and sustainability fostered across their events and programs.
